Our client, a highly regarded firm with a stellar Construction Litigation and Transaction practice group, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Attorney to join their dynamic multigenerational team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in construction and design law, with a focus on representing developers, real estate owners, architects, designers, and engineers. The attorney will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and advising on general construction contracts, management agreements, and other related legal matters.
Key responsibilities include drafting , reviewing, and negotiating general construction contracts, management agreements, design agreements, and related project documents; Representing and providing legal counsel to developers, real estate owners, architects, designers, and engineers on construction-related legal issues; Advising clients on risk management, project disputes, claims, and compliance with relevant regulations and construction laws; Working as part of team on construction-related litigation and alternative dispute resolution processes such as mediation and arbitration.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with a diverse range of clients in the construction and design industry. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a busy construction and design legal practice and expertise in construction contracts, AIA agreements, and related management agreements required. Compensation includes salary of 200K-230K plus a solid benefits package and bonus. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment required. JD required.
