Our client, a forward-thinking Employment Law practice group is Chambers rated. Their multigenerational team is representing mid-to-large market clients in management side labor and employment matters and is seeking to add an Associate with 3-5 years of experience to their team. The ideal candidate must be interested in meaningful, broad based exposure to client matters and client legal teams, as a liaison of partners in the group.

Candidates with very strong writing skills and strong presentation abilities will be considered most favorable. Experience should include advice and counsel matters, including but not limited to, drafting employee handbooks, employment agreements, drafting restrictive covenants, drafting confidentiality agreements, and providing training and counsel to employers as “best practices” to avoid litigations.

This is an ideal opportunity to collaborate with a team of senior partners, mid-career partners and associates. Compensation includes salary (175K-225K+) plus a reasonably attained billable hours bonus and solid benefits package. JD from a top tier law school (high GPA), law review and other writings and clerkships are preferred. Big Law, mid-sized or boutique firm experience with minimum firm movement preferred. NY Bar admission required.
